Check out The Other One > He's Gone > The Other One, complete with a magnificent Philo Stomp. Another great snippet that gets overlooked amongst all the amazing music from fall '72.

An outstanding DS from '71 on TDIH as well:

Fall '71, and Winter '71 contain so many amazing shows as well. Such a fun transition period to listen to.

As far as Phil busting out a big jam, this is the first that always comes to mind for me. Not necessarily Phil starting the jam, but he busts shit up big time with some fat grooves.

Track 15:

Here's a nice nugget as well you won't find on the archive. I don't think so at least:

The 2/24/73 jam is on the Archive (as linked by ONJHZ), but it cuts off just before the Sugar Magnolia, and is mislabeled as well! The whole clip was on the dead.net Taper's Section. That jam came out of an Eyes which is unfortunately on a missing reel.
It's similar to the 2/15/73 Dark Star bass solo. I'm also fond of Phil's solo in the 9/11/73 Dark Star.

For those seeking more Philo Stomps in particular, they're in these Dark Stars:

check out truckin> the other one from 10/21/72, the mix is pretty bad but it's very very phil heavy and he has some amazing moments in this jam. careful with your subwoofer if you listen to this at a high volume.

The 10/24/71 DS is quite solid. Also fond of the TOO from five days later 10/29.

Will have to check out the 10/24/72 show. Idk if ive ever heard it
